Assalamu'alaikum.

If you have been following my blog lately, you can see the pattern of me succumbing to my negative mindset. I think negatively about all things recently and my heart doesn't feel right about all the happy things going around me.

But as my previous post clearly stated, the heart will want to return back to it's original state. Even if it has gone astray, it will want to return back. It cannot stand being outside of its normal zone of comfort, even though it wanted to venture out there. It will never want to be out of there.

This is what I call fitrah of heart. Actually, it is pure and untainted. But foreign factors and influences induce it to be rebellious and want it to be bad. Even how far it goes astray, if God wills it, it will return.

And I have returned back. I'm surprised it only took a day. What a relief! May Allah protect it from going 'bad' again. InsyaALLAH.

P.S: The light side won this time.
