Life is like a wave

Assalamu'alaikum.

Life is like a wave. It fluctuates, up and down. It is similar to a business cycle really. After the economy peaks, it goes down for a recession. After the recession, it recovers again, expands and reaches it maximum point. Then...it recedes, again.



I studied this concept in my economics class...


Life is quite similar to that. Sometimes things are going up for us, sometimes it goes down. It is the way of life. When we face the 'recession', we might say things that are very pessimistic and look at things negatively. But I always found that to be very untrue, as I have seen the 'recovery' myself.

During the 'recession', our emotions tend to surpass our rationality; hence the pessimistic attitude shown by us.

But, Allah is The Most Just. At the end of every sadness, there is happiness. We know this fact, but we tend to forget it. So...

This is just a simple reminder for me and for all of us....
